WELCOME SWEETHEART CONTESTANTS!
Hi, my name is Shelby Houck and I am the 2007 Illinois Coed Sweetheart.  Wow, I am so proud to win Coed in Illinois and to have the honor of working with Maria Rito, the new state director.  I had so much fun at the state pageant and met so many nice girls, and I had so much fun.  I got to go to Florida in November to compete at nationals and the hotel, weather and swimming pools were awesome.  There was a lot of time to have fun as well as compete and it was a very relaxing and exciting time.  What I thought was so great is that our state director Maria and all of the queens from the different age groups supported each other.  We are a family.  I won national talent in my age group and I was so happy.  Please know that going to Coed will be an experience of a lifetime and I have loved every minute of my time as Coed queen.  Join up and have the time of your life!
