Miss American Pre Teen

WELCOME ILLINOIS PRETEEN CONTESTANTS!

Hello and welcome to American Coed Pageants.  My name is Jori Parys and I am the reigning Miss Illinois Preteen.  When I was age 5, a letter came in the mail about ACP.  My mom decided to enter me.  It was my first real stage experience.  An unbelievable thing happened.  I was crowned Miss Illinois Princess 2000 and placed 1st runner up in talent.  I believe that first experience helped me realize that I loved the stage and performing.  ACP is the only system of pageantry I have been involved with.  Having been crowned Miss Illinois Sweetheart 2004  and then Miss Preteen  2007 has taught me much about helping others and boosted my confidence with everyday life skills.  ACP has given me opportunities to speak and perform at  many public events including being interviewed on our local radio station.   Along the way I have met many special and famous people.  But the true joy was being able to help others who are less fortunate.  I have been involved with raising money for domestic violence, cancer, Juvenile Batton Disease and MDA.
The friendships I have built over the years with many contestants and fellow queens I will cherish forever.  American Coed Pageants has been a positive and memorable chapter in my life.  It has helped me build the character I want to be with hopes that I may also influence others in an ethical way. 
I look forward to meeting you at our state pageant this coming July.
